Fall Fashion

I'd have to say that out of all the seasons fashions, Fall or Autumn is my favorite. Unfortunately, Florida doesn't really experience fall, the way we used to in Jersey (waaahhh!) but when the cool weather hits, no matter it being in the mid-70's, I grab my favorite scarves and rock them with pride! My husband tends to give me the stink eye, "You shouldn't be wearing scarves in Florida, babe" But hell, what does he know? He lives in Miami Dolphins t-shirts. So hush, fool.

Anyway, with that being said I thought I'd share some of my favorite Fall fashion pins from Pinterest! Feel free to follow me. :)

Unfortunately, neither one of the first two images links lead them anywhere, just the image itself, so I can't tell you where you'd buy any of the items in these images but I'm sure just window shopping in your local mall, Target, Kohls, etc, you'll find something similar.

Sadly, you can't order this item in the US, at least not a place I could find. It's also sold out online. I want this cardigan so badly! I love it so much! I hope to one day find something similar available in the US, if you find it before me, pleeeaassee link me.

Isn't fall fashion the best? I could wear any one of these, with a Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand, sitting outside enjoying the cool weather. Ahhh, fall! :)

a little retail therapy goes a long way

One thing is for sure I needed a good shopping trip to change my mood for the better. I've been in a bit of a slump lately because of a lot of personal things going on. Don't worry it's nothing close to life or death but a lot on me mentally. Paul & I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now & I just have felt so down in dumps because of it. We want a little bundle of joy to add to our family! But, I know that when I least expect it I'll be totally shocked with a + sign, like I was when I got pregnant with Gracie. I cried and cried for weeks because I wanted to be pregnant so badly & then I gave up and a week later, I took a test and I was pregnant! I couldn't believe it. Gracie came to me right when I needed her the most. :) I bet that happens again... or so I hope!

Anyway, I dropped Gracie off at my parent's house this morning & Paul & I went about 35 or so minutes outta town to a Outlet Mall & shopped our feet off! I got much need clothes & so did Paul. I haven't gone on a clothing shopping spree in I don't know how long. It felt so good to just spend a little bit on us for once! But don't you worry, we got Gracie new shoes & Jordan a new TB Rays (ewww ;P) fitted hat. They both were so excited!

Here are a few pictures of my goodies & one of the kiddies at Chili's tonight for dinner. Hover over for descriptions & click for bigger images.

So, when was the last time you went on a shopping spree? What did you buy? Where is your favorite place to shop? I have a busy weekend ahead of me, so I'll be back next week. Hope you all have a great weekend!

rude people

Today started off pretty good. We slept in, since the kids spend the weekends with their grandmothers (Gracie with my mom & Jordan with his birth mother's mom). We got up, went thrifting & then out for brunch. Paul had to find a pair of dress shoes because tonight he has a work dinner at some fancy smancy steak restaurant with his co-workers. He actually wound up finding a pretty nice pair, and only for about 8 bucks, regularly $50.

After that we headed out to get food. I'm wearing a Yankees t today. When we opened the door to the restaurant, some older lady gives me a dirty look and goes, 'ugh, Yankees.' I yelled back, 'yeah, I'm from Jersey.' She gave me a nasty look and another, 'ugh.' and walked out. What is it with people? Just because you don't like my team doesn't make it right for you to shit talk me for no god damn reason. After she left I had a million witty come backs I wanted to say to her, for example, 'ugh. your face.' But alas, isn't that how it always is? You always think of something clever to say after the fact?! Idiots.

Paul left about 20 minutes ago for his work dinner, so now Gracie & I are in the backyard. She's digging in dirt and well, I'm updating.

Next weekend we're planning a big family trip to the Zoo and Aquarium. Saturday is the Zoo trip and Sunday is the Aquarium. The kids & I will be hitting up the Zoo without Paul since he has to work. Sunday after the Aquarium we're gonna stop by Ikea for some goodies for the mama, because damn it I need some retail therapy! The main reason for our Ikea trip is to find out how much it's gonna cost to have our new sofa delivered. I'm hoping it's not an arm and a leg. I need my limbs. ;P
