Mrs. Jodee Bee, if you're nasty

JODEE B. 20something. Happily married. Mama to 2 little girls & 1 STEP-SON. Lover of elephants, Starbucks, Britney Spears, the New York Yankees, red wine, trashy girl novels, late night chats, snuggling with my girls & zombie flicks.

I'm originally from New Jersey, but moved to Florida when I was a little girl with my parents. I grew up with three siblings (1 brother, 2 sisters), all of which are only half-siblings. So that kind-sorta makes me an only child, except not. I always did pretty good in school and had a large group of friends. When I graduated HS I went to college for web design and only went for half a year because I already knew everything they were teaching, since I had been designing websites on my own since I was 12. No matter how many times I'd ask, they wouldn't advance me to harder classes, so I figured why attend & pay money to a school for something I already know? I even knew more than what the teachers would teach in class and would have to correct them from time to time. I'm glad I left because web design just wasn't the field for me to be in.

After my short trip to college life, I learned several years later, after it staring me in the face since I was 17 that interior design was the design I loved the most. I honestly can't get enough of looking through home catalogs and checking out the latest releases from IKEA. It's my favorite! I'm constantly coming up with new ways to decorate my house, always wanting to paint a room over again, just to change things up, which btw drives my husband Paul insane.

I've been married to Paul since 2006, we started dating in 2004 after being best friends for several years prior. We had our first daughter Gracie in 2007 & our second, Lily this past Summer (2013). We also have Jordan (born in 2001), who is Paul's first born from a previous relationship. I enjoy being able to stay home with our baby girl and pickup our big girl from school everyday. I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to stay home with my kids and not have to work, tho not saying being a full time mom isn't hard work.

As far as my future in Interior Design goes, I'd like to freelance for people as the time comes. It's definitely my path in life & I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for checking this section out & reading this much stuff about me! :)
