Missing in action

Man, it has been quite a while since I've made a post. Between my last post and this one my hard drive died and I had to send it back to Gateway to be replaced. I lost everything on the hard drive, unfortunately. But since mourning the loss of my beloved lap top, Paul & I went on Vacay to Miami for Memorial Day weekend to celebrate being married for 6 years. We celebrated 6 years on Monday, the 28th. Time flies when you're having fun!

I started rebuilding my hard drive from the bottom. Trying to replace thousands of music files isn't easy. I'm also still in the process of installing all my old software, bookmarks, programs, etc. It's gonna take a while, I'm sure.

I just wanted to make a quick post to let you know that I'm still alive & kicking. ;P I'll be back with a detailed post of our trip to Miami, a post about our garden (I added flowers!!) & lots of others good things to come. Thanks for continuing to visit & send in emails & comments. I appreciate it so much! I'll be returning emails by the weekend, so stick with me! :)

Originally, I had a huge ugly ad at the bottom of the website and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to remove it, so I logged into my domain database and contacted their tech support via online chat and an amazing person named Chris K. helped me remove it for, get this... FREE! Talk about amazing!! So thankful!!

new, newer & newest!

I put up a new layout, a detailed about us page & tweeked the sidebar a bit. Feel free to look around and read a little more about us. I realized that as much as I love my blog, I'd much rather use it as a place to post about my day to day life & all the things involved in it, which include my family & whatnot. I spent my entire day on this place and completely neglected to do all the laundry & dishes. Oops.

Paul gets off work... um now. Crap! haha. I better put this laptop down & put some real clothes on, since we're going out to dinner when he gets home. Total slacker today, except for the new blog! I don't think he'll care either way, so no worries on my end. ANYWAY. I need to get my butt moving. I'll be back soon with a update about whats been going on with me tonight or tomorrow. But until then, how do you like the new look? Comments are love, dahhhling!

wreath update

After staring at my last post for awhile, the #1 on the wreath started to drive me crazy, so I grabbed my glue gun & went back to work. I pulled the #1 off the wreath, removed all the dried glue & re-positioned that baby. Now it looks much better!

My first post!

This blog is definitely a work in progress, just like my house. ha! But, nonetheless, I'm so excited to finally have a place to share all of my DIY ideas and home re-do's. I'm currently in the process of designing my kitchen remodel & living room/dining room re-decorates! I have a lot of work ahead of me but so happy so share it with whoever is following along, reading this little place. I have so many great ideas and plans for my new blog, I just wish I had endless amounts of time & money to get it all done super fast! Time makes everything better tho, because the more thought you put into something the more you'll love it in the end.
